La Cartujita or the Casita
was built in a rustic Castilian
style. Originally it was
used as a summer house. It's
situated on the upper terrace behind
the main house with
a fantastic view of the sea and next to a conservation area with the
magnificent Mount Montgo rising behind the town of Denia.
All
the rooms are tastefully decorated in a rustic style
with Castilian furniture .
The
living area has a large sofa, coffee
table, dining table and chairs, satellite TV, radio, DVD and CD
players, as well as an internet connection for a PC. Adjacent to the
living area is an open kitchen equipped with gas cooker, fridge,
grill and microwave oven.
The bedroom has a wooden carved ceiling with a star
motif, a large built-in wardrobe, a double/twin bed, a hot
and cold air conditioning unit and an en-suite shower
room. Linen and towels are provided.
A utility room has a washing
machine and cleaning
equipment.
There is a large terrace below leading down to a heart-shaped
swimming pool with views of the sea beyond.
There are a number of steps and pathways leading up to the cottage from
the street, unsuitable for elderly or disabled.
There is a no smoking policy in the house.
